a zine about getting found — issue 01

How this content is made.

Search engines and AI assistants quote this site. That's a responsibility, so here is the exact process behind every page, in public.

Short answer

Everything here is written and reviewed by one named person: Dima Mochalov, SEO & AEO Specialist with 9+ years in the field. Every statistic must trace to a named primary source or be explicitly labeled as internal tracking. Errors get fixed when reported, and dates on articles are real.

Who writes and who checks

There is no content team and no ghostwriters. Articles, service pages and case studies are written by Dima Mochalov and published under his name; the author page lists background, credentials and links to verify them. When a page describes client work, the numbers come from that engagement's own reporting.

The sourcing rule

A claim counts only if it can be shown where it comes from. In practice that means three allowed types of facts:

  • Public research, named inline: study, publisher, year (e.g. Whitespark's 2026 factor survey, Ahrefs' 75,000-brand analysis, the Princeton GEO study). Articles carry a Sources section.
  • Documented client results: Search Console and GA4 screenshots attached to case studies, and scanned client letters with names.
  • Internal tracking, labeled as such. When the evidence is my own client monitoring, the text says so instead of dressing it up as industry data.

What's banned outright: invented statistics, fake testimonials, aggregate ratings that were never collected, and prices pulled from thin air. Where industry numbers are contested or imprecise, the caveat stays in the text rather than getting edited out for confidence.

How AI tools are used

Honestly, and with supervision. AI assistants help with drafting, research legwork and data processing; they are the same class of tool this site teaches clients to be visible in. Two hard rules apply: every fact in a draft is verified against its source before publishing, and everything ships under Dima Mochalov's name and responsibility. Nothing is published unread.

Updates and corrections

Publication dates on articles are real, and content is revisited as the search and AI landscape shifts, which lately is quarterly at most. Found an error, a stale number or a broken source? Email [email protected]; verified corrections are applied to the page, not hidden.
