An early-stage AI startup in the mental-health space grew non-branded Google visibility after a 6-month SEO + GEO strategy: daily impressions moved from ~225 to ~980 and daily clicks from ~3 to ~27.
An early-stage AI startup in mental health was targeting the US, UK, Canada and Australia. The product was strong, but organic search was almost flat — especially non-branded demand in a YMYL category where Google holds pages to strict E-E-A-T standards.
Consulting through February and March: keyword and content-gap analysis, technical SEO fixes, a link-acquisition plan, and AI-citation optimization so the product could show up in AI answers, not only classic blue-link search. I built the 6-month roadmap and handed it off for execution in late April.
daily non-branded clicks: 9× · daily non-branded impressions: 4.4× · non-branded clicks: 1.28K · non-branded impressions: 76.5K. In roughly two months after execution started, non-branded visibility began compounding: daily impressions grew from ~225 to ~980 (4.4×) and daily clicks from ~3 to ~27 (9×). The important part: the flat first months were not failure, they were the runway we planned for.
